
Cupertino giant — Apple announced today
that iPhone 5 will be available in South Korea on December 7 Friday and 50 more
countries. The thinnest and lightest iPhone ever is set to sweep off Apple fans
across the world this holiday season.
Currently available in 47 countries around
the world including US, Australia, Canada, France and UK, this new member of the
iPhone family runs on an Apple-designed A6 chip for a faster performance with
the latest operating system iOS 6. It also boasts 200 new features and thousands
of apps available for download on itunes app center.
And before the holiday rush, Apple wants
everyone across borders to experience the iPhone 5 mania as it is scheduled for
shipment on 50 more countries. It will be available on December 7 Friday in
South Korea, December 14 in Albania, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Bahamas,
Bahrain, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Ecuador, Grenada,
Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Jordan, Kuwait, Macedonia, Malaysia, Moldova,
Montenegro, Panama, Paraguay, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South
Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela. And on December
21 in Barbados, Botswana, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Egypt,
Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Niger,
Senegal, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Tunisia, Uganda
and Vietnam.
iPhone 5 will be available in either black
and slate or white and silver at a suggested retail price of $199 (US) for 16
GB model, $299 (US) for the 32 GB model and $399 (US) for the 64 GB model.
