A new firmware for Nokia Lumia 820 was reported to re-enable LTE support in Russia after it was disabled by the Portico update there earlier. According to website WP7forum.ru the said firmware would be rolled out soon to couple of Nokia smartphones namely Nokia Lumia 620, 820 and 920. It will also come preinstalled on Nokia Lumia 520 and 720. The website also noted that the firmware also comes with Nokia's Check Storage utility which gives users control over their temporary files. Well here's how you can install an update on your Nokia smartphones.
To manually check for updates on your Nokia Lumia:
- Go to Settings, and select Phone Update.
- To check for the new updates just tap on Check for Updates.
You need to update your device to experience the improvements and some features added on your Nokia Lumia device.
