Verizon Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 Portico Update

Good news to all Verizon Nokia Lumia 822 users. A software update for your device has already rolled out and it was named Portico. It will boosts your OS to version 10211 and new features added.

Some improvements and features added on the update:

• Improves the performance of your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections.
• Improves SD card functionality and support other microSD card manufacturers.
• You can select MP3 files loaded via a PC.
• Edit a received MMS before forwarding it.
• Ignore call with automatic SMS reply.
• Send SMS to multiple contacts at the same time.

If your device is still not updating, then you may need to manually check for updates.

Go to Settings > Phone Update > Check for Updates.

Just make sure that you are connected to the Internet or Wi-Fi before attempting to update your phone.
