Google introduces JAM with Chrome which is
an interactive web application that enables friends from anywhere in the world to
play music together in Chrome browser on their computers. So if you’re a
rockstar wannabe, here’s your chance to make it happen, at least in a computer.
You can choose from 19 different
instruments once you’re on the website. From bass guitars, standard drums to electric
piano keyboards. If you've chosen your instrument already, click on Jam to start
playing. Playing your instrument is as easy as dragging your mouse or using 1
to 4 keys on your keyboard. It also has an alternative QWERTY keyboard chords. Once
you get started, you can easily switch instruments as many times as you want.
Let your friends join you by clicking on
invite a friend tab. You can invite up to 3 friends. It even allows you to chat
while playing your instrument with its embedded Chat box. To maximize your
keyboard usage, switch to Pro and imagine your keyboard as your air bass
guitar.
