How to Share Your Sony Xperia U Mobile Data Connection Using a USB Cable

With Sony Xperia U, you can share your phone's mobile data connection to a computer using the USB cable that came with it. This type of connection sharing is popularly called as USB tethering. Here's how you can share your phone's connection through a USB cable with your computer.



1. First, you need to deactivate all USB cable connections to your phone.

2. Now connect your phone to a computer using the USB cable that came with your phone.

3. On your phone's home screen, tap.

4. Tap on Settings.

5. Go to Wireless & networks and then Tethering.

6  Mark the USB tethering checkbox. You'll see an ongoing notification in the
 status bar and in the Notification panel. Your phone now starts sharing its mobile.

7. To stop sharing your phone's data connection, just unmark the USB tethering
checkbox or you can disconnect the USB cable to stop sharing your phone's data connection.
