
Accessing the start screen in Windows 8 is totally different from what we are accustomed to do in Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. It’s more fashionable in Windows 8. Others might find it a little bit of work but it’s a lot easier than you think it is. Here are the ways on how to get the start screen in Windows 8.
1. First easy step to get back to your start screen is through the Windows start flag button on your keyboard. Just push that flag key on your keyboard.
2. If you have navigated away from the start screen, you can access the start button on the current app you’re in. Just move your mouse on the upper right side of the screen and move it down. A list of icons will appear on the right side and there you’ll find the start button. Click on it and you’ll get back to the start screen.
3. Another way to access the start screen is by pointing your mouse and clicking the windows flag button on the lower left corner of the screen. The good thing about this is that whenever you click again the windows flag button, it brings you back to the previous page you were in.
4. And if you’re on a touch-screen computer, you can pull up the start screen by swiping in from the right side and tapping the start button. It’s also a toggle between the last app you were using.
