Why is it necessary to add and submit your Sitemap to Google? Sitemap is important because it will increase the visibility of your website for crawler access. For bloggers, google made it easier for you to submit your Sitemap.
Below are the steps on how to submit your sitemap to google:
Step 1. Log in to your Google Webmaster Tools by using the same gmail account on your blogger.
Step 2. Select the Blog you want to submit the sitemap to google.
Step 3. On the left side options under Webmaster Tools click on "Optimization" and click "sitemaps".
Step 4. Click on "ADD/TEST SITEMAP" on the upper right corner.
Step 5. Type in "atom.xml" and click "Submit Sitemap".
You have successfully submit your sitemap to google. All you just need to do it to wait some time while search engine will crawl and index all the your pages and posts.
