How to Set up Video Calling in Facebook

Social media sites nowadays are defining what internet usage is nowadays and facebook is one of those sites. Over the time, facebook has been adding a lot of new features to its site to keep their members hooked up. Just recently, this what we call video calling has also been embedded on their website to cater to members who thinks sending quick chat messages is a bit too old school.

If you haven’t tried the video calling then now is the time for you follow these steps below on how to successfully set up video calling in your facebook account.

Step 1. Log in to your Facebook account.

Step 2. Once you’re logged in, search for your friend’s name on the chat box list’s search bar on the lower right corner and click on your friend’s name.

Step 3.  A small chat box will then pop up with your friend’s name on the upper left hand corner. Just beside that, click on the video icon. Note: this set up only applicable if your friend is online.

Step 4.  You will then get another box saying SET UP VIDEO CALLING. Just click on “INSTALL” so you can download the set up file.

Step 5.  Once file is completely downloaded, just click “open” .

Step 6.  A dialog box will appear asking if “DO YOU WANT TO RUN THIS FILE?”. Click on run to proceed with the set up process.

Step 7.  You are now on the next phase of setting up video calling in Facebook.  Just wait for it to download successfully.

Step 8.  Once it has successfully installed, you’re ready to video call your friend. So call your friend in facebook and enjoy!
