Customizing your search engine will also help the crawl of your blog. This is also one the techniques that made by Google. You can also integrate your Google Adsense to your customized search engine, which increase your blog revenue.
Just follow these simple steps on how to customize your search engine:
Step 1. Sign in to your gmail account and go to Google Custom Search Engine. Click on "Create a custom search engine".
Step 2. Fill-up the form that describe your search engine. Make sure that you have check the "I have read and agree the Terms of Service" before clicking "Next".
Step 3. Choose the style you want in your search engine.
Step 4. Click on "Customize" on the style you have selected to modify the colors you want. If you like the design then you don't have to customize. Then proceed to the next step.
Step 5. Copy the code provided.
Optional:
- You can also modify the "Layout" on your search engine. Just click on "look and feel".
- Now choose the layout you want and click on "Save and Get the code" at the bottom.
Step 6. On your blogger account, go to Layout >> Add a Gadget >> Select "HTML/JavaScript.
Step 7. Paste the code that you have copied in Google Custom Search Engine. Then click "Save".
You can now view your blog for your new Search Engine.
