Samsung Galaxy S3 took iPhones by Storm.  For many years, iPhones have been dominating the world of Smartphone. Apple has been in charge over the years of designing sleek and high-end iOS phones. If you have the golden throne, don’t expect the others to sit back and adore His Highness. And Samsung was just so keen in overthrowing King iPhone. With its new Samsung Galaxy S III, it has taken the throne by storm. It is now dubbed to be the best Android smartphone ever made, period. Well, you might wonder what made it best. No rush, we’ll take a tour on Samsung’s newest pride. 

Software

This coolest ever smartphone runs with Google’s Android 4.0.4 but with a twist. Samsung added up its newest in town’s TouchWiz 5.0 software which has also been used on Samsung Galaxy Note. What’s up with it? Well, here’s a teaser for you all.

• S3 boasts its front-facing 1.9 megapixel camera that will recognize you if you’re still physically looking at the phone. Goodbye to those days in which Smartphone just shuts off the screen when you’re still reading a page. This Smart Stay feature will recognize your eyes and will keep the screen in a bright display. Amazing, right? 

• If you are in a middle of messaging someone but decided to call them instead, you can just lift your phone to your ear and it will dial the number automatically. That perfectly makes sense. 

• S3 redefines the NFC (Near Field Communication) capability of Smartphones. If Google’s Android allows you to share websites, contact info and location with the tap-to-tap system, well Samsung took it a notch higher. With S3, you can now share photos and videos by tapping two smartphones together. This is the coolest ever feature should I say. And here’s more, you can share a 1GB movie file using the tapping system in three minutes and a 10MB music file within two seconds even without a Wi-Fi or cellular signal. Cool! 

• It features as well the “S voice” but in a more advanced way. If you still want to hide underneath your blanket after the alarm goes off, now you can just tell S3 phones to “SNOOZE”. 

Hardware  

S3 takes pride with its wider 4.8” HD Super AMOLED screen display, weight of 133 grams and a sexy dimension of 136.6mmx 70.6mm x 8.6mm. It’s wide enough for a vivid viewing experience and sleek and sexy appearance just right for your pants pockets minus the bulging look. Despite its 8.6mm thickness, it’s totally jam packed with a quad-core 1.4 Ghz processor, one of the fastest processor on the market. Flipping of menus is just as snappy as it should be. It is available in 16GB and 32GB user memory and an expandable mciroSD slot of up to 64GB.






Camera

For those camera freaks out there, this phone is just the perfect match for you. It has an 8 MP rear camera that features a zero-lag shutter speed, first yet among smartphones, that lets you capture moving objects without any delay. As Samsung would say “the image you see is the picture you take”. This is perfect indeed for capturing your baby’s milestones. It can instantly capture twenty continuous shots (bye bye blurry photos) plus the “Best photo” feature which will choose the best eight pictures for you. What more can you ask for? Well don’t forget as well that 1.9 MP front-facing camera which you can use to record HD videos and of course yourself. 

Those features are just the tip of the iceberg. No wonder it has toppled down the iPhone. Reviews so far for Samsung S3 would unanimously agree that it’s the best smartphone now in the market and perhaps the best yet made. This definitely sent a danger signal to Apple. What would you expect from Apple? Of course, creating a sleeker and cooler phone would be the game plan to regain their spot. No wonder they are about to release iPhone5 sometime this year as an answer to Samsung’s S3. Will Apple going to make it or break it?
