The most expensive dog in the world was sold in March 2011. It is a red Tibetan Mastiff called a Big Splash or “Hong Dong” in Chinese. That time the dog was 11 months old and already weighs more than 180lbs. 

The dog was sold for $1.5 million. And the question that comes into my mind is, I am willing to invest this amount of money in just a dog? Would you? Well, if that interest you and you have nothing to do with your money then you may do so.

Rottweiler is a breed of domestic dog. Price is between $2,000 – $8,000.

Chow Chow is originally breed from China, where it is referred to as Songshi Quan which means "puffy-lion dog". Price is between $3,000 – $8,500.
