Marvel’s The Avengers has indeed taken
the global cinemas by storm. Well, it earned a whopping $1.46 billion in
cinemas worldwide. And if you think your money deserved a sequel to this comic
movie, then you’ll earn it! It’s official! According to Deadline, The Avengers 2
will soon hit in theaters this coming 2015.
Director Joss Whedon has inked to write and
direct Marvel’s The Avengers sequel. With a gap of three years from the first
one, Marvel Studios has already set to release a wide array of its signature
movies with Iron Man 3 (May 3, 2013),
Thor: The Dark World (November 8, 2013),
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
(April 4, 2014) and Guardians of the
Galaxy (August 1, 2014).
But three years is three years. Fans (like
me) are not quite impressed with the waiting time. I hope they will retain the
same powerhouse cast and of course better action stunts and a meaner villain. That
will make it worth the wait (I think). Let’s see if this sequel will be as hit
as the first one. Guess I’ll be seeing another mad Hulk again.
