Incredible watches are often used as great spy accessories for fictional characters like Inspector Gadget and James Bond. It usually works like a computer, a tracker, television, two-way radio and even a hologram. It may seem totally impossible but Cupertino giant Apple Inc. is actually making it into reality.
According to a report on New York Times, Apple is experimenting with a smart wrist-watch which would somehow work like smartphone does. Without a doubt, the tech giant plans on incorporating it with their very own iOS platform. Alleged reports say that the said device would have Siri programmed in it. Moreover, it could also serve as a handy mapping device with Apple’s map offering real time directions. It could even be wirelessly connected to the wearer’s iPhone where messages and voice calls are simultaneously transmitted to the smart watch. Others say that Apple is also planning to include a feature which would monitor the wearer’s health and daily activity.
Although Apple denied commenting on these rumors, a Chinese gadget site somehow reported late last year that Apple had actually begun developing a watch featuring a Bluetooth and a 1.5-inch display. Now that Apple and Google are venturing into wearable computer devices, it’s safe to assume then that a decade or two from now smartphones and even desktops will be part of the obsolete family.
