For your iPod:
Step 1. First make sure the hold switch is off. It is located at the top of your iPod. If the hold switch is on, try to use the iPod to make sure that it is not on hold mode.
Step 2. This will reset your iPod. Follow the steps depending on your iPod generation:
iPod 1st, 2nd & 3rd generations:
• Press and Hold the "Menu" together with the "Play/Pause" button for about 10 seconds until your iPod shuts off.
• You may stop pressing the button when the screen is blank. Normally turn on your device. It will then light up with the apple logo and your iPod should be in normal again.
iPod 4th generation:
• Press and Hold the "Menu" together with the Center button for about 10 seconds until your iPod shuts off.
• You may stop pressing the button when the screen is blank. Normally turn on your device. It will then light up with the apple logo and your iPod should be in normal again.
For iPhone & iTouch:
