Ashton Kutcher
ousted Charlie Sheen on CBS hit series Two
and a Half Men and even on Forbes’ list. Sheen topped the highest-paid tv
actors last year. Now that he’s left the hit sitcom, he’s also nowhere to be
found on the list. Kutcher now is leading the pack of Forbes’ Highest-Paid
TV Actors for May 2011-May 2012. This bankable pretty boy seems to have the
best of worlds—with a budding love affair with Esquire magazine's sexiest woman alive— Mila Kunis and a fat pay check to
boot.
Aside from an acting stint on tv
screen, he also rakes in big cash as an investor of Skype, Spotify and Airbnb.
Guess he’s investing too much for his future. And since he’s a tech fan, he was also
chosen to play the role of the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in the upcoming
film Jobs. Take a sneak peek on the list of lucky men
who made it to Forbes’ list of highest-paid tv actors:
·
Ashton Kutcher
He’s not just a pretty face after all.
Perhaps Demi Moore might have regretted the break up as her ex-beau appeared on
the top spot as the most bankable tv actor with $24 million. Lucky is the new
girl Mila!
·
Hugh Laurie
We just love this doctor. Hugh’s long running Fox tv hit series House has finally closed its curtains.
No worries though, he still got $18 million to dig in for the winter. Think
it’s too much?
·
Ray Romano
New Yorker Ray Romano ties up with
Hugh Laurie at the second spot with $18 million as well. Even if TNT closed
down the set of Men of a Certain Age
due to struggling ratings, he still get the bulk of his wealth from the
syndication of his classic Everybody
Loves Raymond. He does get a pretty nice fortune as well from Ice Age franchise as the voice of the
lovable mammoth Manny which earned $860 million at the global box office on its
fourth installment.
·
Alec Baldwin
Veteran actor Baldwin gets most from his NBC’s comedy hit 30 Rock. He played the role of TV
executive Jack Donaghy. All for fortune, this star continues to conquer even
the big screen with five films in various stages of production. That
contributed a lot to his $15 million
earnings.
·
Mark Harmon
Raking in $15 million on his name, Harmon’s NCIS series helped him grab the 3rd spot of the
highest-paid TV actors. NCIS has been
hailed as one of the highest-rated shows on TV with solid average viewers of
19.7 million per episode and has been running for 9 years.
·
Tim Allen
He’s the voice behind Toy
Story’s Buzz Lightyear. While he earns a decent fortune from Toy Story, Allen also gets a chunk of
his $14 million from Home Improvement
and with ABC’s sitcom Last Man Standing.
·
Jon Cryer
Another Two and A Half Men
star gets into the list as Cryer bagged in $13 million putting him on the 5th
spot. He may not be as happy as Kutcher during payday, which is on the number
one spot; Cryer still walks in with a big smile as he won an Emmy for lead
actor in a comedy series just this year.
·
Patrick Dempsey
As the last man standing on ABC show Greys Anatomy, this dreamy hunk actor still got reason to appear on
tv as he earns $12 million this year and a faithful 10 million viewers per
episode for his show. And oh don’t forget that he also appeared in Transformers: Dark of the Moon which
happened to be one of biggest films of 2011.
·
Jim Parsons
Parsons gets the bulk of his $8 million from reruns of one of the
most successful shows on tv, The Big Bang
Theory, with 15 million viewers per episode.
·
Johnny Galecki
Thanks to The Big Bang Theory,
Galecki made it to the same spot with his co-star Parsons who both earned $8
million. He’ll be appearing on the big screen in CBGB a film about the famous Ney York City club.
·
Jason Segel
We
got 3 actors on the 7thspot. Segel also raked in $8 million for this year with
his show How I Met Your Mother and
his big screen movies like The Muppets
and The Five-Year Engagement. The Muppets brought in good money for
him as it earned $160 million at the global cinemas, which by the way he wrote,
produced and starred.
