Google still retains the name Jelly Bean on
its new software Android 4.2. It’s not so long ago when Samsung and Motorola,
to name a few, decided to upgrade its phone with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. And now
Google introduces an update of its Android family, taking it a notch higher
than its predecessor.
The new Jelly Bean sports a completely new
camera. You can snap pictures in all direction and it comes together into
immersive photo spheres which basically puts you right into the screen. It’s
like you’re right inside your phone screen looking in all directions when you
view your photo sphere. You can view them right on your phone at 360 degrees,
even brag them to friends and family through Google+ and much more when you add
them on Google Maps for the world to see.
Aside from a completely new camera
experience with the new Jelly Bean, it also features another great functionality
calling it the Gesture Typing. This time, all you have to do is just glide your
fingers over the letters instead of typing them and lift your fingers every
after word. It’s like connecting a dot. It even automatically adds spaces. Here’s
more. You can go away with the traditional typing or even Gesture Typing. Now you
can do voice typing with this new software with its improved text-to-speech
capabilities.

The tastier Jelly Bean also supports
wireless display which means you can share what’s on your phone, like movies
and Youtube videos, to an HDTV. Google search also got a new look. With Android
4.2, you can now search the web with your voice and it answers back with search
results. And not just that, when your device is idle, a photo compilation will
display on your screen and even the latest news from Google. Viewing notifications
also got better. Just swipe down from the top of the screen and you’ll see all
notifications in one place.
Google Now also got a fair share of
improvement. Aside from bringing relative information right then and there
before you even ask, you can now see popular photo spots nearby, track packages
and promos, information on upcoming movies and events and much more. For tablet
users, this Android supports multiple user account without the hassle of
logging in and out. Switching accounts is done in just a snap and every account
can have its own homescreen, background, widgets, apps and games. There’s a
place for everyone. Of course, there is the infamous NFC functionality on this
Android.
It’s indeed a completely new experience
with Jelly Bean and even cooler. New devices from Google running on this
platform are surefire hit. Could there be any tastier than this?
