Devices turn
into mini these days. Beats, leading maker of audio devices, unveiled its tiny
compact speaker today and they called it the Beats Pill. The name says it all but
it’s more than just your baby speaker on the go. Beats being founded by famous record producer Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, produces high quality audio devices. And today they have just made another awesome device to add on their coveted Beats collection.

It’s absolutely
lightweight. The whole unit sports a weight of 0.3kg with a height of 45.72mm
and a length of 190.5mm. The Pill is pretty small enough to fit in whatever you’re
carrying, be it a backpack or a purse. The package includes a USB 2.0 cable for
charging and data, 1.5-meter audio cable with 3.,5mm jacks on both ends, an AC
adapter in case you don’t need to use it wirelessly and a carry case which has
a handy carabiner so you can attach it to your bag. It comes in red and white
color as well.
Can’t get
enough? Here’s more. You can take calls through the Pill with its internal
microphone so long as it is connected through your phone via Bluetooth with
even better sounding. Amazed? You should. But with all these features for a
tiny compact speaker, the price might drop you off from your seat. The Pill is
one pricey device at $199.95. It sounds like you’re buying a $199 tablet with
its price. But you won’t go wrong with Beats Audio’s Pill. After all, it's what
the Dr. prescribed.
