Tech gadgets reviewers have aired out on how Apple Map app falls
behind Google’s version. Consumers might notice the
poor quality of the said map compared to Google now that iPhone 5 is officially
available in stores. Problems that are notable in Apple Maps include mislabeled
plots of land and missing public routes. Others have said that it's also facing some accuracy issues with its turn-by-turn navigation.
Apple spokeswoman Trudy Miller finally breaks the silence. She said,
“We launch this new map service knowing that it is a major initiative, and we
are just getting started with it.” Miller said that Apple is working with developers to integrate some
transit apps found in the App store into its iOS maps. Users who own old versions
of iPhone received an update of Apple’s new app.
iPhone 5 is officially in stores now. Price starts at $199 for 16 GB
memory to $399 for 64 GB. Well, I guess despite its flaws, iPhone really has
that magic that can make anyone line up in snaking queues while waiting for
stores to open.
