after it was launched, the said tablets have received various criticisms after
reports came out that Amazon would not allow users to pay to block ads just
like its predecessors. By Saturday, Amazon immediately sent out a new policy to
answer angry clamors from its customers.
Amazon representative Kinley Pearsall said
in an e-mail, “With Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD, there will be a special
offers opt-out for $15. We know from our Kindle reader line that customers love
our special offers and very few people choose to opt-out. We’re happy to offer
customers the choice.”
Kindle Fire devices are set to be shipped
and hit the shelves on November 20 just in time for Christmas holidays.
