Apple seems to be so hooked in suing
Samsung. After being awarded with $1 billion for winning the much talked about
patent issue against Samsung, Apple is adding newer Samsung products to the
original list of infringed devices.
This move is part of a separate patent case
between Apple and Samsung involving patent issue numbers 721 (slide to unlock) and
604 (universal search feature for Samsung phones). Adding to the list they are
complaining are Galaxy S III, Verizon
Galaxy SIII, Galaxy Note and even to the newly released Galaxy Note 10.1.
Apple strongly pointed out that Samsung has
chosen to copy its technology, user interface and its devices’ innovative
styles rather than developing its own. The infringed Samsung products include
21 new smartphones, media players and tablets that have been released by
Samsung from August 2011 to August 2012.
