Microsoft Warns on Recent Internet Explorer Threat

|

If you happen to be an Internet Explorer user then this warning is for you. Microsoft just discovered a bug in its Internet Explorer (IE) browser which makes computers vulnerable to attack by hackers. Microsoft wrote on its blog that hackers can exploit the said bug on Internet Explorer browser to infect your computer after you visit a malicious website and eventually take control of your pc.

Microsoft just released Security Advisory 2757760, a free security tool known as the Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit or EMET for IE users to download.  This advisory will work as a first aid measure for the said attack while Microsoft is fixing the bug and eventually release a much secure version of internet explorer.

Internet Explorer 9 and earlier versions are affected on this website hosting malicious software. Click on this link to read more on Microsoft’s announcement and on where to download the security advisory.
