Smartphone is indeed the trend for this
year. The too crowded smartphone market
is set to welcome another product this Wednesday. Nokia, which partnered with
Microsoft for its new phone, will unveil its latest addition to the Lumia
family--the Lumia 920 on September 5 in New York City. The Finland phone maker
has said to be on a downfall trend after it traded its own Symbian platform
over Microsoft’s Windows Phone.
Figures would show that Microsoft has been
trailing way behind from iOS and Android platforms. Windows phone never seems
to catch up the game played dominantly by iOS and Android. And now, Nokia and
Microsoft are hoping to raise their flag as they introduce Lumia 920 which
somehow takes pride with its rumored wireless charging.
According to an article by The Verge, this
Lumia 920 handset will come with a charging pad for a wireless charging. It will
also support Qi Wireless power standard which means that it’ll be compatible
with number of other wireless charging products. So expect a strangle-free
cables and connectors for charging.
As for the specs, sources said that Nokia
Lumia 920 will include 32GB device storage, 1GB of RAM and a 1.5 GHz dual-core
processor. The said phone will have a 4.5 inch HD display. The camera will be
an 8 megapixel s with a front camera of 1.3 megapixels.
Do you think
Nokia’s wireless charging can grab the hot spot? I just hope they have better
features than this wireless charging because if they aim for that “SPOT”, they’ve
got to have some better stuff up on their sleeves. Or else, Nokia will surely
find itself in bottom most part of the pit hole.
