Even if
they lost a billion dollar to Apple for their controversial patent
infringement case, the show must go on for South Korean tech giant Samsung.
With the success of its Galaxy S3 flagship, Samsung will release a follow up to
its smartphone Galaxy series - the Samsung Galaxy S4 as revealed by a Korean
newspaper. It will be launch on February next year.
Samsung
Galaxy S4 will feature a bigger display of 5 inches, slightly bigger compared
to Galaxy S3’s 4.8 inches screen. It might also feature Samsung’s new Exynos 5
Quad processor or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor. Either way, Samsung
will still retain some of Galaxy S3’s notable features like the Super AMOLED
display on top of other new features of Galaxy S4. And guess what, S4 will
still come in a rectangular shape with round edges (which has been claimed as a
design patented by Apple) but thinner, according to Korean Times.
There’s no
stopping for Samsung amidst its fight with Apple. And since they are more popular in Europe, Samsung
opted to launch the said device right in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress
according to tech blog Mashable.
